Newbies

Welcome to the “Newbie Guide“, a corner of the blog reserved specifically for those of you who are new to the whole prospect of marketing and sponsoring online.

The intention here is to introduce you to some of the easiest tools and training resources that will help you build your business and learn the skills needed to become a more successful home business owner. No short cuts I’m afraid. Even with the training tips and advice here you will still need to actually use and apply what you learn if you want to see results.

But over my time in this industry I quickly realised there’s a lot of hype out there and newbies are particularly vulnerable because you don’t know what you don’t know, right? Hopefully, the newbie guide will point you in the right direction to resources and tips that are specifically geared towards helping those just starting out.

Don’t be fooled into thinking you need every product that comes onto the market. For instance, there are hundreds of keyword research tools on the market that you can buy. But if you’re just starting out, the chances of you being able to make good use of them are pretty slim. And Google’s own free keyword tool did me just fine up until just a few short months ago.

Remember, all the experts and gurus out there all started out as newbies. They once stood in your shoes. The only difference between them and you is time and experience. If you put in the time, you will gain the experience. And if you learn from the experiences you could well be the next Mike Dillard, Fernando Ceballos, Frank Kern, Eban Pagan…

So bookmark the Newbie Guide as I fully intend this to become a super guide for those just starting out. And if there’s something you want to see here, any training in any particular aspect of marketing, shoot a mail and we’ll see what we can do.
