Richard Legg’s training programme is another resource that is absolutely great for newbies. This course covers the absolute basics from getting a domain, setting up a website, uploading it and using it to sell products. And it includes links to some great free tools such as NVU which is a free HTML editor. (Don’t worry if you don’t know what HTML is, that’s the beauty of such tools as NVU, you don’t need to. All you do is create a pretty page with images and text, and NVU converts it into a website.)
He also covers generating traffic to your website once it’s created, and using an Autoresponder. By the way an autoresponder is absolutely essential if you are serious about working online. Very few people will buy from your website on the first visit, regardless of how fabulous your website is. It’s human nature to look around for the best deal and the chances of them coming back to you once they’ve gone is pretty slim to say the least.
I personally use iContact - simply because it’s so easy to use and I get access to the same great features as do the likes of Mike Dillard. The only difference is that I get them for a fraction of the cost, because iContact prices are based on the number of subscribers to your list – and let’s face it very few newbies have lists of over 100,000. 
But back to Richards’ “Succeed in Thirty Days” training. Richard is a very decent bloke. None of the usual hype and fluff that you often find with a lot of the marketing ‘experts’ and his training reflects that. It’s simple, straightforward and moves at a pace that beginners can follow and keep up with easily.
There is an option to upgrade. If you can afford it, take it. If not, don’t worry, put it on hold until you’ve put the training to use and actually started seeing the money coming in. Notice I said, put it on hold until you’ve put the training to use. I can’t emphasise this enough.
The number one reason people fail at earning money online is because they don’t bother to implement what they learn. They read a sales page, sign up and start promoting it in the hope of making money, before they’ve even put it to use themselves. Trust me, I’ve worked with people who have tried this for years, never seeing any success and still doing it because they either can’t be bothered to put the actual training to use or they think it won’t work for them.
It will!
There is no excuse for not using this training. It’s simple and there are even videos included showing you how to get started with the basics.
